| Eastney 24/10/09 NOT A GOOD DAY  (cost me £200)Went armed with every type of bait you can think of. Rag, lug, black lug, peelers, mackeral and squid. Took a couple of mates with me, one a first time angler, I set him up with a simple flapper rig baited with rag, sods law he caught first fish within minutes, a schoolie.  Brendan with his first ever fish The wind was howling from the SW and there was a lot of weed making fishing very difficult  Peetee playing the waiting game Peetee had a schoolie, I at this point had only had one bite. Brendan had another, it must be beginers luck I thought. I went back to my truck to get the lantern to find I had lost my keys somewhere on Eastney beach, the day was getting worse.  Had to join the AA to get me home, cost me £150. Only fished for a couple of hours so going down to Hayling on friday. I need to catch a fish, please help me lord  __________________ Born to fish, forced to work !!     |
