| again with massive thanks to rich ![]() last night we were undecided where to go again as the south beaches were being hammered by the wind again so we decided up the estuary the idea was Lympstone looking for Flounder, and either at the slip on the bend ( oops no access sign now erected so that was out) next idea pub beer garden as seats as well ![]() but had a wee look at the harbour and theres a lovely concrete wall arround it , so we fished the end of that set up as church rang 8pm simple 2 hook rigs and worm first blood was mine with a rig ruining eel the we both had schoolies then more eels( all of which were renamed pike bait unfortunately the flounder didnt show( probably because schoolies were beating them too the bait) left at 10.30 and had a couple of really nice pints of the local otter ale in the swan beside the harbour ended up a great night in the end, my walking is starting to get better, and i can stand long enough to cast as well now( no power casting {not that i can}though), good company as ever, a few fish and a chill just what the doctor ordered fishing over the next couple of weeks is very mucked up with half term( already ) and 1 half of team speckled moveing house ( must mean a housewarming though cheers rich again, and i should be driveing fine for next wed ![]() dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |

| Re: just what the Doctor ordered A new spot which is always useful to know. A dry, calm, warmish evening. (Which was no small miracle if you'd seen the met office forecast the previous day!) A few fish, which although small (Okay, very small) are always welcome. An absolutely cracking pint of Otter Amber. (Close even to the fabled Speckled Hen )And to top it all, a new experimental fishing photo pose. I like to call this one: Pretentious! ![]() __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check.
