| selsey east 17th oct Having not had much luck down my way over the last week or so myself and lewis decided to give it another crack for a codling somewhere. being as there's quite a bit of weed on the local beaches and not many fish about we thought the best venue would be selsey east beach. how wrong could we have been....5 hours fishing 8pm till 1am resulted in just two decent bites for myself and one bite for lewis if i remember right? The only good thing to come out of the night was taking a couple of quid off lewis for the side bet we had as i landed the only fish of the night.... a nice codling of 3lb 6 which almost got me the treble on the side bet being as we before we started we decided to guess our best codling's weight.... grrr i guessed mine at 3lb 8 lol so close!! anyway baits used where lug blacks squid frozen crab and whites.....don't know what else to say apart from i think i'll give that place a miss for a while. cheers ps, nice firework display there though!     |

| Re: selsey east 17th oct hay sound like a tipical night down selsey me and my mate normaly dont bother betting who lands the biggest fish but go for the biggers lump of weed landed lol. i live in selsey. |
