 beer 14/10 ,should have gone on the beer , well last night wss the oct wed league match unfortunately the league seems to have died off( usually by now if start new , its impossible to catch up), so knew would only be a few there( ended up being 4  but I have been leading all year up till last month when couldnt fish, so this month i was determined to fish Beer was the destination and with the plaster being off tuesday and being allowed partial weight bearing surely would be ok so it was that i hobbled over the rubber matting that the boats use over the stones , then the matting stopped and the fun   began, crutches on deep stone beaches are a nightmare, but i got to the front where rich had put my gear( masive thanks mate)set up and stated fishing well to say it was dire was an understatement, lost so much tackle was rediculous( usually would have moved but that wasnt an option with the crutches) in the end i had 2 tiny rockling ( 5 beard , minispecies so dont count) and rich had blanked the other two had fished over on the small pier and had had doggies, pout and 3 beard rockling( which do count) , so it was honours to adrian , whos now 200% in lead with 2 matches to go  was damn good to get out but the fish could really have made an effort as well massive thanks to rich for the carrying of gear and stopping at the kebab on way home next planned fish is next tue / wed eve,( that is unless I get driveing again then watch out pike pingus a comeing  ) but where the hell to go dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |

| Re: beer 14/10 ,should have gone on the beer , Well done on the joint bronze medal position in the comp , must be positive about these situations.Another + point is that it wasn't at chesil, now there is some shingle made for crutches  .Don't rush the back to driving - a lot of force goes through the leg when stamping on the brake to avoid collisions. | Re: beer 14/10 ,should have gone on the beer , Rubbish. Utter pants. Spent the whole night losing leads and wasting bait.  One odd moment at about 22:30, when a coach party came down to the water, pointed at a few things and left again. What was that all about??? All in all a crapy night, made tollerable by the return to shingle beach fishing of our feathered friend and a cracking kebab before home. Next year....
