| Pagham 08.10.09 Decided on a last minute session for thursdays weather window and hit pagham with rob last night  , not being too optomistic as we couldnt get any fresh lug anywhere  , but we did manage to get 100 frozen blacks from andys baits in paulsgrove  , bloody good worm as frozen goes , and very reasonable as well , so armed with a lb of rag 100 frozen blacks and squid we set off , had a nice reccy around paulsgrove , cosham ,and surrounding areas after getting lost trying to get blacks , set off for the chippy then on to the beach , we were fishing by 8 pm over low , not a lot happening untill the flood started , then bite a chuck from jumbo pout baits were being stripped in minutes by a army of crabs  , then as the tide started to ebb again rob had a nice pull down and slack line "cod on" reeled in a dirty dog peed him right off  , then not long after the same for me slight pull down and slack line took up the slack and it went loose again , oh well i thought better than a pout so took up the slack and wound into alump of a fish proper headshaker , great fun this one , got it up and over the wash and oh yes another shore pb for me in 2 sessions , .............................   5lb 9ozs  and first shore caught cod in over 2 years also smashes my previous of an ashaming 2lb this one also went back , what a end to the night , cracking worms from andy and will deffo go back had enough by 5.30am and headed home happy ,lee. __________________ If Everyday things are getting you down & stressing you out, Think like a Dog, If it cant be Eaten or Humped, Piss on it and walk away..     |
