| 27/9/09 Pompey wrecking Hi, I haven't posted in ages, simply because we didn't have a boat to fish from, Ray my fishing buddy and boat owner decided we needed a bigger and better boat, so Helindy was sold in June 08. Indie arrived in April this year, still needing final fitout, (pic taken from find a fishing boat)  She has two 320hp Cummings giving a top speed of 40 Knots, although we cruise around 20/24 depending on sea state. Last Sunday saw us heading off with a group of mates,  tide was small 3.8 so we drifted a couple of wrecks scratching out afew small pollock,   As it approached slack water the hook went in and the fun started, loads of conger, mainly straps around the 20lb all released at the side and this old girl........  judged to about seventy pounds, after a brief photo call she slid home. Mixed in with the conger mayhem came these.....   Potty with yet another snake on....  and me...
