Re: Where to fish?

eastbourne and bournemouth that sort of area apparently

are either of those near the south coast?

why am i imagining bournemouth is up north? is it?

im normally after barbel but i've got a 2.5lb t/c 12 foot rod and a big spool of 10lb ironsilk, will that cut the mustard?

im thinking of putting about 4 hooks up the line with a big ole sinker bout 3oz or more with a selection of baits on it rag/sandeel etc

sound about right? or am i undergunned?

i spent most of my time seafishing so far taking wrasse and conger off the rocks in cornwall when i lived down there but have fished the chesil bank a few times too (and caught sweet f a!)

is my gear up to it? what sorta rigs do i wanna use for beachfishing?

sod it i should just go do me own google search shouldn't i lazy bast lol

any help appreciated

Re: Where to fish?

You might want to beef up the line a bit.
I will fish carp rod 20lb straight through with 3oz gripper & a gentle chuck at Bournemouth.
If you want to try hitting the horizon with the lead then use 10lb per oz (bait & weight).
Choose a calm evening if you don't want your rod tip dancig all over the shop.

Good Luck.
