| Weston jetty 24/09/09 Had a txt from rob this morning simply saying "mullet today ?" so with the lovely sunshine i thought why not  , got there for 1.30 pm as the tide was coming in , saw 1 random mullet mooching about then nothing untill about 4 pm when a shoal of 3 monsters were cruising past baits and swiping it with there tails  , buggers would not take the bait cracked on and finally got them feeding and managed my first of the year  no monster but still a lovely fish that was surprisingly calm probally 3-4 lb never weighed it just let it go back again asap ........................... job done the schoal were then spooked and done the off , and so did i home for dinner  , rob was going to give it another 20 minutes , hope he bagged one __________________ If Everyday things are getting you down & stressing you out, Think like a Dog, If it cant be Eaten or Humped, Piss on it and walk away..     |

| Re: Weston jetty 24/09/09 ya im not a mullet fisher myself i just see them sometimes when i crab there from time to time, i mean a stretch on the hamble where there is a pink ferrie to take ppl from side to side __________________ carp is not for dinner, it's for pleasure |
