had a very nice day on samphire hoe just outside dover today,
i went with my mate les and we arrived at 0800,we were the first there,we selected a spot which was supposed to be relatively clear on an otherwise very rocky venue,
reports from locals who fish there regularly suggested our best chance of success was to fish down the wall with booms,one of my favourite methods,
fishing wasnt too lively at first due to it being low water but it livened up considerably later,
it was non stop action down the wall,i ended up with 10 wrasse,7 pollack and a pouting,the mackerel were a non starter but never mind it was a lovely day

Nice bit of action there mate,its nice to have a bit of mixed species fishing.
