| seaside here i come now here's a rarity,fishypaul is going sea fishing  i am off in the morning for a day at samphire hoe in kent,i dont expect too many leviathans but i am hoping for a nice day out while playing about with my float fishing and catching a few mackerel for pike bait,     |

| Re: seaside here i come Good luck mate, Don't know how well you know Samphire Hoe, but it can be very snaggy. You will be OK float fishing, but if you fish on the bottom, BEWARE You are all right casting a long distance, UNTIL you try to retrieve! A lob of about 15 yards will usually see you in reasonable ground - but lift your retrieve rapidly. Read up on "rotten bottom" rigs (google) unless you know already.
