Clarence Beach Sat Night

Me and the Lewis went to Clarence with Rag, Squid, Macky and some live Pout via South Parade Pier.

We did want to fish tight to The Round Tower but someone already there

Anyway cast out a live pout 20 yds with 2 oz lead and set the ratchet.
Lewis needed a shock leader put on while he went to the car to get another bucket.
And my reel screamed off, i couldn't believe it only being there 10 mins and 1 Bass of around 2 lb

Just what i needed after a few blanks chasing the Bass.
Put another Live Pout out to the same area and also rigged up another rod With half a Macky which did not get a touch all night. Half an hour past and i had another run which ended with another Bass of similar size as the 1st

We fished 2 hours after high(HT7pm ish) we had no further bites after these 2 Bass, so packed up at 12. The Sloth fished the same way as me but had nothing
I think i will get back there very soon and fish around high tide as we caught Bass before the tide started to run hard
