get the prawns out

Just received an e-mail from Henry Gilbey and he said his mate had a thornback the other night over 15lbs caught on prawn also said it is a killer bait for them so get your prawns out a give it a go

according to the sea angler its the indonesian king prawn or something.

personally i like to go out for a night catching live big prawns and use them alive deadly bait

Got me prawn in my hand as we speak!!

Its a great bait for skate and the like but have only used the live stuff. Will have to try.

Are the normal small dead prawns anygood for fishing, or do they have to be the big king prawns?
