| Re: mackerel One Area that is worth a try is Eastbourne - Langney Point, Just behind the Water Treatment Works. There is fairly deepish water and generally from about 3 hours from high tide to an hour or so after has generally been best for me personally. Usually Fresh Lug seems to work OK. there is also a chance of a few smallish bass. Unfortunately though there seems to be a large amount of Pout & Rockling caught here. Have had V Small Thornies, Gurnard, Bream, Small Smoothies, Mackies, Pout, Sole, Rockling, Poor Cod & Bass From here with Whiting in colder months. Give me a Shout sometime and maybe organise a trip somewhere as I am only a few miles from you |
