this is why they call me pompy bass man!

i woke up at 9am and got down the hard by 11. my mate was already there and seeing loads of bass, 2 of which i reckon were double figure, were eating a dead pigeon in the water. so i kept all the bass happy while i was chucking in loads of bread and then i put my bread on my 1/0 hook and away i go.
i caught one in a space of 30 mins and that scared them all of apart from one. while i was still reeling in my big bass my friend got one up at 42cm long and it wieghed in at 2lb. after a 6-7 mins of fighting a nice bass on a spinning rod my mate lowered the drop net and we got it up. the bass wieghed in at 4lb 8oz.

my nan, the photographer decided to take some odd shots of the fish
here they are




the fish is now choped up in to 4 steaks for me and my mum. and 2 small fillets for my nan.
