well the fishy one called paul is decending apon our lovely county again monday

and it would be rude not to meet him

so the idea is brixham breakwater tommorrow eve

tides are probably wrong
weather is probably wrong( well it is the summer)
god knows what time will be there (8ish i guess)
guess will fish 1/2 way along( well paul is getting on abit now

so all in all great planning

but thats where we will be if anyone fancies a beeroops sorry social fishing meet fish

damn, if only my car hadn't decided that it wanted a new starter motor in tesco's car park 4 hours ago I would have tried to come down.... One lucky thing with the breakdown though... It could have happened whilst I was at seaton last night !

well that was a pleasent eve

the rain stayed mostly away

and a couple of hours faffing about on the breakwater were had


with paul landing this leviathon pollock on a scratching SIZE10 HOOK!!!!!!!!



I amanged a micro tiny pout and even tinyier( is there such a word) poorcod

and hate to say it but rich BLANKED!!!

the only night i have beaten him all weekend , but he did have the seal infront of him

good eve
and kebabs to finish

a great weekends fishing ( if not a tad tough at times[baggies report to follow]) topped off with pleasent social meeting paul

It was all about the social , as for rich blanking , hasnt he had enough fish over the weekend to last a lifetime

a beer,a kebab,fishing and excellent company now that is the recipe for a good evening,

it was exactly that,we had a great time and the bass bandit (aka baggie ) blanked !!!!!!! perhaps it was the promise of an early bath if he caught one,

Sorry mate, missed this one somehow!

It was a cracking evening. I knew very early on that I'd be blanking. After threats from Paul and Dave I decided that I'd "take one for the team" and remove the hooks from my trace. Not only that, but it would appear that I'd choosen to fish in front of (I think he's called Sammy) the seal. Just as it was dark, the damned thing poped up not ten feet from where I was sitting, snorted a couple of times, took one look at me and sank beneath the surface again. Cool to see, but not good for the fishing.

Other than the lack of hooks, a top night. Beer, 'babs and a good craic with me mates. Paul, it's always good to see ya, next time you can show me the famous Dungy beach!
