calm after the storm

yesterday the weather was horrid , with rain that even noah would have worried wether he would get the ark made in time, it was predicted to go through ( heading east) by 4, so at 6.30 pm when talking to baggie with the rain sheeting down outside hopes werent high,

but I hadnt fished in over week and a half ( sun we evacuated to pub)and so i had the shakes, also it was wednesday, and we fish on wednesday,
and miraculously the rain eased at 7pm

picked up si at 7.30 and then baggie and we decided to keep local and head jacobs

when we got there the skies had cleared and wind dropped it was great, there was a nice surf running and this brought out the surfers, so we headed round to sidmouth main beach



set up and fished between the rock groins



weed was a bit of an issue at the edge but otherwise fine

I drew first blood with a schoolie and then a smaller one

baggie also bagged a schoolie then a pout and a good sized eel

Si decided to move back to the platform and managed a 3lb smalleyed

left at 12, was a good eve , managed to fish despite all earlier hopes, caught and good social

roll on weekend as got a few sessions planned as baggies a free man now(till tues) and meeting fishypaul mon

weather forecast doesn't look too good at the moment guys,
it might be a case of less and more

Was a good night. Still to make my mind up about the new spot... Worth another go though.
