| the hard, portsmouth 4th - 5th july hi all, i know i havn't written in ages so i will post about last weekend. well my friend called me on thursday to say he caught a 3 1/2 lb bass on bacon and he carries on hooking mullet on bread and bacon but they come off. so i thought i would give it ago. saturday this is the warrior ship.  magnificient ship. plenty of crabs aswell knicking my bait  this is one mullet i hooked almost strait away, but he came off the hook  he felt a fish of about 3-4 lb. the biggest bummer of the day was loosing this terrific bass. about 6lb i reckon  brilliant fight though. and then at last. i landed a bass of 43cm long and wieghed in at 2lb.  thats my ' ive got a nice bass for dinner and im chuft face ' all the fish of the day went for bread. sunday. ssshhhiiittteee!!!!!!!!!! all i caught was one little blennie on bread for the whole 7 hours fishing. oh well. regards ollie     |
