| Christchurch - needles/solent any hints tips ? Hi there, We are going out on tuesday on a chartered boat, just wondering if anyone has been out recently and caught anything, what bait you used etc, havnt been sea fishing much so any help would be grateful. Thanks |

| Re: Christchurch - needles/solent any hints tips ? hi mate what boat are you going out on? and from where? it's a 4.4 tide 1st high water is at approx 08.15, 1st low water 14.10 1.3 i would be tempted to fish for cod in the morning and whiting at slack water as for bait most skippers would recomend squid and large 8/0 hooks for cod went fishing out of eastbourne the other weekend, had alot of whiting on 3/0 hokkia traces using rag and slithers of squid hope this is of use to you. __________________ Rough seas = Ground baiting |
