Any Bass being caught off Chesil Beach?

Hello all,

I am off to Chesil Beach (Abbostbury) next weekend for the second time ever.

I am, technically speaking, new to sea fishing as I only get to do it when on holiday or day trip/weekends away to Weymouth, I know what I'm doing but haven't had much chance to put it into practice.

I would really like to catch a Bass so if anyone has caught any or heard of anyone catching please let me know and please include what bait you used and the rig/method if you can.

As it is my second time ever and I'm still (technically) new to it I would be happy to catch anything as I have only caught Mackerel on feathers so far so do let me know everything your catching and how you did so.

ive had a couple on peeler crab. squid works well aswell
