Flounder Bash... Big Problem

Hi guys,

Its not good news i'm afraid.

I have just spoken to my mate down in Barnstaple and he has told me there are two matches on the Taw on Sunday.

One is a Penn league qualifier and the other a local juniors match.

The Penn match starts at 10.am and the juniors at 9.00am so it may be a bit crowded!

We have two choices really 1. Get there early and fish as best we can or 2. postpone the meet for another day.

I think both matches are rovers, but I am not sure, if they are not it will be pegged out and that will be that.

What do you guys think?

I have made up my mind cos I got a passout for Sunday i'm bl..dy well gonna go.

If it gets too crowded then i'm off to Crow point or Graysands for some codling and stuff. And i'm gonna take my stove as well!!

I agree if we all meet up at the time and place then if it goes a bit pair shaped then old smoothound knows were esle to take us

and if that goes pair shaped then the pub it is

We get there early and they work around us. Anyone who sees me casting will soon give me plenty of space. The Taw is a pretty big river anyway. Failing that how does the Torridge estuary fish for flounder?

if they fish the comps up there like they do the big comps on the teign then the buggers camp out all night in there favoured spot!
