| last night was the monthly league fishing seaton over a high tide, had peeler in hope of hound but prefer low, but here we go rain was lashing down as we left but pretty much stopped by seaton only 6 signed in again, foty??rain?? who knows started by fishing seaton hole to try and wrangle out a wrasse great super snaggy area, ![]() view back to main beach ![]() fished well here and only lost the 1 set in end by leaving too long, no wrasse but got a rock goby( which dont count in comp ) for 1.5 points ![]() fished till 8.30 then back to main beach for the dogs/all other species beach was busy with tinsellers rakeing in the weed, missed a good bite on a pop up then baggie got us the best bite of the night ![]() cheers mate![]() well it was dire, I manged a really scrawny spawned out doggie, for 1lb3oz and come weigh in couldnt believe that was it, no one else caught, so i won , but was really a terrrible nightand our next comps seaton again on saturday night ![]() my god its got to improve though ![]() dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |

| Re: tough night at seaton could have been worse and blanked but it does look a very fishy venue,gonna be coming your way on the 22nd stopping at devon cliffs probably bring beach casters and spinning rods as well as my son and the missus any idea of tide times and best places to fish or eat and drink if the weather is crap.cheers. |

I fished like an ar*e if I'm honest. Couple of rattley bites down at Seaton hole but that was it for the rest of the night. Funniest bit was the look on Dave's face when climbing down to the rocks at the start. Dave doesn't do mountain goat.... . Interesting place though.. Might have to give it another go with floats and lures at some stage.Ah well, we'll get 'em at the weekend.. __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check.
