well we went but no conger

i hooked 3 but al off them dint want 2 come out of the rocks

caught 2 tiny pout and andy had a doggy that fell of on the surface

everyone on the pier was catchin pout and there was even a garfish caught in the day

That happens all the time Steve.

I've not caught one yet but my mistakes decrease each time.

My first mistake was to not being right by the rod striking very soon after the bite.

My second mistake was giving up once it went into rocks. When this happens I was told to slacken the line and wait for it to come back out.

I went out yesterday and bought a much tougher rod for conger so I'm still determined to catch one soon.
