seaton last night 5/6/9

as managed to wrangle a few crab, and poxy work and childrens birthday do,s meant weekend was out( should have been at charity carp meet and met mick brown, next time)

so seaton it was, left late deliberately to try to avoid tinsellers, got there 8.30 and beach was still packed with them, saw very few catching eithere

headed right and found a spot and set up

did a bit of tinselling and had 2 extra baits, so we were sorted

nothing happened at all untill low, then i had a slamming take, and possibly the best fight ever from a sea fish, arm was aching towards end

and eventually had a smoothy infront of us, all of estimated 3 1/2 lb but it had been tail hooked and boy did i know it

rich was soon into one about the same stamp

(riches new blank expression , to add toi his repetoir)

then all was quiet again for a bit, then we both had a smaller hound each

stayed on, far too late and home 2ish

target achieved but wish we could find there mums

back again for a comp on wed
