Eastbourne, 13th November catch report

Well all started well in the morning, next to no wind, brett came and picked me up around 5.45
made it to eastbourne in record time of 1hr over 80miles
waited around awhile and then got out onto the water, quite choppy and very cold (1*C the thermometer said)
people started catching whiting very quickly so most people switched to small baits for them, the best baits being rag/squid
fish ranged from small upto about 2 1/2lb
other fish caught were doggies, pout and a gar fish
a rare catch in November to brett

he doesnt seem that happy about it though
catches carried on throughout the day which amounted to around 100ish whiting, 5-6 pout, lots of doggies and a gar fish

view on the return

the perfect end to a perfect day (although no cod)

thanks andy for making it possible

Re: Eastbourne, 13th November catch report

Boat was 40ft Aquastar loads of room for eight anglers,

Roger, the skipper is a plesant helpful guy, who's been fishing for most
of his life.

All in all a great day out, Ben found form taking around 30 plus whitting,

AndyG continued his war on the doggies. The rest all helped taking more
whitting, pout and dogs.

Must do it again.

Re: Eastbourne, 13th November catch report

the only prob with the skipper was that if you wante advice or whatever you would have to go and ask him, and also the boat was nice to fish off of but it didnt have any spare tackel or anything which would have been nice when i broke my reel
