chesil and weymouth

Im heading off to chesil tommorow evening to fish the night but cant make up my mind where to go. Ive only ever fished west bexington as its the only place i know how to get to. Im worried that it wont be fishable as the weathers turning and need a place for back. Was considering weymouth harbour? Can you fish there and if so wheres the best place to park and fish.
Any advice on these places would be great am new to this sea fishing but starting to enjoy it beats sitting behind those bite alarms.
cheers

the stone pier offers some protection, good fishing too, also if still there the recreational pier is good, some huge john dory under the pier! ive had plaice bass pollack mackerel and dogs off there.no need for a big cast its deep anyhow.
