| bass bash hamble river knocked off work today and took the boat for a test run after playing with a few minor bits and to hopfully pick up a bass for dinner. well the engine was fine, i cant get it to play up again no matter how much i give it greff. im starting to thing i hit somthink soft and the engine kicked up and made it over rev and slow the boat down, and with the amout of blanket weed about at the moment it could explain a lot. shame it was pitch black and very rippled on the surface where it happened so i could not see if the was anythink to have got cought round the leg. anyway back to the fishing, i was using live shrimps and gobys and had 7 bass all in the 1-2lb range in 2 hours . i took the biggest one at just over 2lb for dinner which also happened to be the last 1 b4 i ran out of bait ![]() which after 2 hours looked like this ![]() chilli pepper battered with home made coleslaw :chef: :chef: job done  so with a bit of luck im hoping to have a crack at the sole this weekend and give the boat a more distant run, bloody tipical sole only feed at nite :bash: :bash: __________________ http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...xt80382370.gif |
