looked so promiseing down charmouth last night

last night with baggie being away I was flying solo( had had a call fo up channel but couldnt get away early enough and damn they had plenty of thornies again )

dureing the day the wind had gone strong S/W so knew would be choppy, but was a big late high and worth a bash so i headed to charmouth
hunting bass or maybe a ray

there was a good swell running , which all the surfers were enjoying, but i snuck in along the front railings( great fishing from the car here)


first cast lasted under 5 min before the weed had it
so fished further at range and that sorted that

there were quite a few there trying for a bass(i guess) with the sea crashing well over the prom

also gave the car a good wash as few times

after high the weed subsided but the only thing i caught was the flagpole beside me , with a particulary bad cast

left just too late to make a kebab at honiton
it all looked soo good
oh well next time
