| Shande 23rd May Cod fishing from Exmouth My special thanks to Drew and Richard who helped me fill the boat after been let down, i hope to cross your paths in the near future. We've all heard the skippers say '' should have came last weekend we had a good trip'' but i think i can honestly say this was a ''last weekend trip'' They weren't record breaking size but a few good size ones can to surface. Seven came up on the first drift and then it went quiet for a while, but it soon changed. Every body had a few fish to take home and there was even a couple spare for the skippers tea (i haven't seen that for a while) Drew out shone everybody with an excellent catch of 15 Cod, and i wasn't far behind with 12 cod and a good size pollock. The last two trips had been tough but this trip certainly made up for it. regards Darrel PS: i would like to thank Ian Goff the skipper for his part in this, we have to accept that somedays know matter how hard they try it just isn't going to happen, but hey that's fishing for you.      |
