tired of blanking

after joining forum and reading that fish still exist in the solent area decided to give southsea pier a go with my lad result was friday arrived probably wrong state of tide fished 1-8 low at 4 caught 2 mackies.
fished yesterday in kayaks 10-4 drifted for 3 hours back and forward from blocks to pier nothing,anchored up and fished into blocks 2nd post out from channel my lad was into fish straight away on rag and crab tipped hokais and and running ledger on 2nd rod,he caught schoolies,wrasse,mackerel,bream and a smut i ended up with 2 wrasse and a mackie.
aching a bit this morning probably need to learn of a few more marks to anchor up but will definitely give the blocks another bash soon.
