| Black Bream west of Poole Had a trip out of Poole with Steve Porter on Saturday. Fished just off the cliffs west of Swanage. Stacks of Black Bream (well, stacks for Certhia and t'others in the boat) For some reason I was not getting bites, although using the same rigs as the others. Only got three whilst the others had over a dozen each. Very rarely do I get the wooden spoon, but the lunch, the craic, and the weather was good.....and I did get a garfish on the retrieve, so along with a stray mackerel managed to win the species hunt! __________________ RNLI Governor Nothing matters very much, few things matter at all - Plato ...only things like fresh bait and cold beer - Vagabond     |

| Re: Black Bream west of Poole Hi Vagabond, A few of us from the Forum are out with Steve on Monday 18th. on a Smoothound/Bream + anything else that's there trip. Last week when I was out with him, I had a similar experience and had a Garfish on the retrieve, were the Bream of any size?
