hamble river 9/5/09

me and 7 other dicided we would go for more of a jollie more so than fishing with other halfs in toe.
we had ago by mercury on the hamble river, so once we got the fire up and running a the bbq's alight, we had ago at drowning some worms. and it was very quite and very weedy.
but not to long after sun set, i drew first blood with snotty eel of about a pound.

then i nigel had a bass of about 2 oz....lol
it was slow but still a good nite out with a beer or 2, a fire and bbq.
in the end i had 2 eels and a bass, my missus had a bass, nigel had 2 bass, his missus had a bass and dav had another eel,

well done mate, i caught my first eel of south parade pier in southsea the other day and yesterday i had 12 2-3 lb bass on the feathers
