Whitehouses, Milford on Sea

Had a busy week so come friday night got the bait and was all set for fishing the tide up, when we arrived it was blowing a hooley, it took three of us to put up one beach buddy, a quick look at the rollers indicated there was a lot of weed, normally I wouldnt fish in these conditions but I really needed to get out and get some sea air and hopefully a few fish. My weights must have had bomerangs attached because not sooner had I cast out then it was rolling back in toward me absolutely covered in weed, not only that but the weed was the type that sticks like sh*t to a blanket. I stuck it for three hours and having lost several rigs and weights decided to call it a day, goes without saying, not SNIFF of a fish, but dispite all this, I still had a great time and had good crack with the rest of the guys down there, my arms were sore with castings and my stomach ached with laughing with the other guys. so for me it was a BIG BLANK day,

I gather you did not manage to get out on your boat trip?
