Fishing Comps

Hi
Just wondered if anyone fishes any shore open comps. I have done a few of the Minehead/Blue Anchor comps which was great. Do any of the local Torbay/Devon anglers fish any???

I should be fishing the Weymouth A.C. Chesil Beach Cod Open on the 28th nov, any1 b fishin this?

national flounder championshipon the teign november 20th 21st i never fish that one though the river is normally too packed with anglers!

i will fish the RNLI flounder comp on the teign though cos its going to a good cause

Well done Dave very commendable

Wouldn't mind fishing the cod comp at Chesil, where would I get info on this. Cost prizes etc etc.

Have fished the Teign flounder comp in all weathers and had a good time. Have also camped out to get a good spot in the past. Sick to death of being RIPPED off for peelers which is the only let down for this comp but it can be good fun ......

28th - Weymouth A.C. Chesil Beach Cod Open, Abbotsbury. £1000 heaviest bag (cod only), £500 heaviest cod (same angler cannot win both). Prize table, junior, lady, OAP prizes. Entry £15, £10 juniors & OAP's. Opt. pairs £5 per angler, 1st = £150 plus prizes for 2nd/3rd. Fishing 11.00 - 17.00. Last bag 18.00. Registration Abbotsbury car park from 9.00.
