| 18/4/9 RNLI charity match, jacobs and ladram last night was the clubs annual RNLI shield charity match venues were either ladram or jacobs on a total neap tide heard of loads trying ladram so with heads refreshed from the night befores antics it was an amazeingly early gettaway and rich and myself headed off to jacobs, firstly to fish over the rocks under the ladder to hope for a wrasse before dark = diddly, nadder not a touch , was still really shallow though so then we yomped up the beach to try for a ray First cast with a sandeel was a beaut and went miles( well ok not miles but was a goodun) and within minutes i had a 1lb3 doggie  , well at least i wasnt blanking, but my god that was it, both rich and myself never saw another touchback to the clubhouse and all bar one ofg the winners came from ladram with the usual pair of dogs winning a nice new abu reel too be honest it was a dire nights fishing for everyone, with it only being dogs, pout and a undersised bass in tottal, no ray this far west yet 26 fished and the with the raffle it looks like £340 ish for the RNLI which was the main reason a good social in clubhouse and winning a case of girlie lager ( will keep for the ladies at the smut meet) made the evening ok  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |
