| Southbourne 11/4/9 Hi all K's daughter texted to say she was coming to visit Sat eve & stay over easter. Packed kit & we left for Southbourne before she arrived.  Arrived just before dark & lobbed out mack with squid strips. Used the Carp rods with braid as clean beach & gentle seas. Second put in (just dark) K had the cracking bite you can expect on this setup. In came a lovely little flattie  - guessing it's a turbot - will post picture when find lead for camera.Fished the tide up & over till midnight using varieties of sandeel squid & mack. Not much else to shout about, few micro pout & some scrawny little whiting.
