 Where to go next weekend  I'm thinking about heading down to the south coast next weekend for a spot of sea fishing with Bananna Steve & Dognobbler. Anyone got any suggestions where we would be in with a chance of a few fish? | Re: Where to go next weekend Hi Ian. I am thinking of taking my days trout fishing at Revels if you are interested. I have heard of some fish starting to show of Chesil. The fist couple of Smoothound have been caught towards the Abbotsbury end. Quite a few dogs all along the beach, which normally herralds the arrival of the first of the huge Mackerel shoals. | Re: Where to go next weekend i've been hanging back to see whats about here n there , coz i can't catch bugger all meself at mo.  big question is - day , or night. day- slim chance of plaice at the plaicey venues ie, western chesil, or eastern solent (eastney /hayling etc). night- as lee says, thornies at hill head & simelar solent marks. spotteds, painteds have shown at barton. http://sea-angling.org.uk/vbf/showthread.php?t=5143 __________________ beer so many venues, so little time. |
