| a bait digging exersize. i got to lepe at about 2pm, due to a slight miscalculation the tide was still in  so i set up and fished at the far end of the carpark for an hour or so with sandeel & blacklug.unsurpriseingly not a touch. the tide eventually dropped and so away went the rods and out came the bucket n prong. 2 hours digging on the ebb, found me enough worm hopefully to last this week as i'm on holls. darkness set in at lowwater, it would have been a damn sight easier digging the flood but pointless in the dark. still blistered me hands to buggery though, must be getting soft. i saw gulls feeding hard off the needles ore point ?? mudflat the otherside of where the river runs in at low water, wishing i could cast that far but i thought i'd type that info for any kayakers reading, possibly worm scoured out by exeedingly low tides collecting there or p'raps the worm are spawning . i left for stubbington & my fav kebab shop, then on to lee on......... fished at lee......... from about 1/2 6- 3am. random bites from small stuff mainly to worm, accounting for a few pout,bass and a whiteing. i was hopeing for a thornie but not tonight, fell asleep through most of the flood.   got a bucket o rag for a plaice hunt later in the week though  __________________ beer so many venues, so little time. | Re: a bait digging exersize. I wish life would start moving again up here in norway.I jumped into the water to see if there was anything happing but it was totally dead under water. not even a crab to be seen. |
