we all know this time of year is bad and yet we still go

I decided to go and fish blackpool sands last night to see if there are any fish still swimming in the big pond. To my utter surprise no i sat there with a couple of mates with the wind and rain driving hard hard thinking tio my self i must be mad. I know in my head the fishing will be bad and yet i still try.

At least i got out for my first shore trip of 2009 a bit late and have decided to stick to the pike untill april may time when the pond fishing realy starts

what we are doing is leaving the 21st century and all its woes behind us and getting back into the food chain.

the lifting of the leg and release of the fart that rots underwear,and not caring who hears/sees or tastes it.

the flopping of the tackle as you pee in high and wide circles over the rock edge,and not caring of a little blow back to the face.

the crisp sound of a richard released on its way into a rocky crevice just behind your mates spot and waiting for him to realise hes being avoided by all.

the rustle of the rizla,
the plink of the bottle,
the screams of "aw shat ?..there it goes,weight,bait,the fecking lot" as you snap one off.

many are the reasons why we go out there.

same as me at seatown last night mate, rich managed a micro pout but conditions went unfishable with the weed later,

next weekend is definately pikeing for me , till the fish swim inshore again
