off 2morro, deal in kent

ok so im aware that deal is more in the southeast so im hoping im doin this in the right place...
2morro theres a group of 5 of us going fishing for the day in deal. amonst us are 2 complete new comers (my neice and nefue) so even if nothing is caught it could be a good laugh.
my nefue (who turned 12 yestaday) is overly excited about the whole thing, he went with us to sumwhere local to learn to cast the other day and even tho nuffin was caught he didnt want 2 leave. my neice (16) is only goin cos her bf is lol but she will b atleast trying it mwuaha.
were takin a few baits with us from the obvious lug worm, rag worm and squid through sprats, common muscles and limpets. the latter two are a bit of an experament as none of us have fished them before, jus thinking logically about it they evolved shells for protection so something must eat them lol.
none of us have been in a while (not including our learners) so none of us really know what 2 expect to catch but i shall take a pen and some paper along and attempt to record what species are caught and what baits they were taken on and i shall report back here once im home, warm, dont stink and fed.
if any1 has been beach casting in deal recently im sure we'd all appreciate any feedback. from my point of view paticulally if any of my favouite salt water species, the great doggy fishies have been caught, i know most consider them a nusence lol but i think there great. anyway i look forward 2 ur replys and any reports i can give
lee

Re: off 2morro, deal in kent

hope you have a good day lee,i think maybe your best bet is deal pier, the deeper water it gives you may help although this is a rather grim time of year for sea fishing,
if you are hoping for a doggie, well i fished deal a couple of months back and the doggies were going crazy for a bit of squid, thats probably your best chance mate,
best of luck
