| saturday night at seaford after a cracking day, decided we had to give it a go. this our second session of the year. First session ended in a bagfull of whiting a couple of weeks ago.Had reports of dabs being caught at edinborugh road so headed that way. Got on beach about 4pm tide just on turn baited up two rods and cast out and waited, watched a smashing sunset and still waited, light fadeing and first knock of the night pulled in a small dab well undersize at only 6ins, returned unharmed.continued to get bits for rest of session but all fish were around 6inch mark so all returned safely. finished session at 9pm with a total of 5 fish being caught, nothing big but good start to the speices hunt for this year. 1 Dab,1 Ling ,2 whiting and 1 pout.      |
