| nice day, shame about the fishing with nice tides and the sun shining me and alan decided we got to get out there so the plan:- find a nice bank offshore and catch some blondes and maybe a cod or bass for dinner what happened:- went to a nice back and it was taken. so we found another nice bank about 1 mile away. we anchored up just right first attempt which in the boat i was in is quite hard. so happy with my handy work we dropped our baits to the deep. then after a while we rebaited and tryed again and again. after 2 hours i slipped the anchor back and sat the boat on top the bank and again not a touch so after another hour , dropped us back over the bank. still not even a true bite. so with things looking grim we upped anchor and moved off to a wreck which always comes up with the snotty old conger. and true to its form it came up with the goods. we had a couple of conger 1 of around 20lb and 1 of around 30lb at the same time which made a nice jumper like ya nan would nit out of the braid :'(  anyway i soon T'ed both off at the side and returned for another day soon the tide turned and was away in the wrong direction so we upped anchor and head home. low point of the day was been in the right place at the wrong time, good points were getting out there on a nice day and having a crack and not getting a single doggie on the boat :P :P :P yet not blanking il try again next weekend >  __________________ http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...xt80382370.gif     |
