 Finally got out Fishing Been a while since last post & last fishing trip too Went Sunday late afternoon to Eastbourne (Langney Point) with Roger (Step Son) with a bit of wrapped Lug & the New Rod (Sonik SK3 13ft 5-7 oz) and was 6C BUT clouds were looming, made sure we set up hard against Groyne and sheltered from wind. not too long before Roger brought in a rockling and I caught a Birdsnest, shortly had a double shot of whiting & Rockling myself so was leading him (as Usual) only for Roger to bring a double shot of whiting, Rain then started Hammering down and the wind picked up, then another double shot of whiting & a Dab to him and finally a double shot of whiting to me. Only Small Stuff caught but at least we were fishing and catching. Finished after about 4 1/2 Hours soaking wet and finally defeated 6 to 5 by the boy (he was going to beat me eventually) well done Roger So for a February session it was pretty good for us from this area      |
