| my first Cod at Abbotsbury With freezing conditions forecasted for last weekend I prepared myself for a really cold day, with no hope of catching. Ian picked me up at 8:40 and then we proceeded to pick Dognobbler up. We swung into Weymouth to pick up the bait then head towards Abbotsbury. By 11:30 we were all fishing. Ian’s friend Pete arrived just after us and was the first to catch, this raised my spirit, maybe to wasn’t going to be that bad. And a bonus the sun was out and the forecasted temp wasn’t that bad.  It wasn’t long before all 4 of us starting catching, mainly whiting and pout but at least we were catching, Ian had a bonus fish, a little 3 bearded rocking.    As the day wore on the temp did start to fall, but before that happened two people turned to catch the positive waves coming of the sea.  The day was absolutely fantastic, it was on the best sea fishing trips I been on, I mean I caught more than 3 fish As the sun set the views were so relaxing!    As the night drew in the temp dropped and the shingle on the beach started to freeze. At this point I caught my best ever sea fish, a Cod of 2lb. boy was I chuffed.  In Summary I had a great days fishing, and there is fish in the Sea __________________ Born to fish made to work     |
