finale of the wed night league 2008

sorry about late report seem to be struggling against rest of family for pc time( roll on xmas )

well last wednesday was the last match for the clubs monthly wed night league

the yearly result was really a forgone conclusion but could still fish for the monthly prize, in the traditional fashion it was fished infront of clubhouse with the weigh in in the bathhouse pub at 10pm ( how sociable is that)

well rich and me both struggled with weed at the first spot on the lifeboat slipway so moved right, the current was still massive but weed better, we both caught fish, myself a flounder and rich a whiteing but both undersized, there was a nice flounder just under 2lb caught but a club member who was just fishing socially , come the weigh in Ade won with a pair of whiteing it was that slow.

the final tally fot the year had adrian winning , with si second and ken third with quite a gap till the followers after that, a good year and heres looking forward to next year, starting on the second wedneday of january at budliegh
and a massive thanks for Adrian for running and exmouth tackle for supporting with the yearly prizes

PS and as an aside rich and myself took the last of our bait to seaton last night, still plenty of whiteing about its best to say( and doggies ) and the chill in the air was perfect for the beer
