| couple of sessions last week managed 2 sessions last week wed night rich and myself really couldnt decide where to go, plan was to hunt huss or sole?? original idea was lyme regis but a late start ment we ended up at branscombe, and for a change headed right, just up to the chalets it was a lovely eve and neither of us put the top wind/waterproof layers on as fleeces surficed it was a hectic night with doggies from the off, even double shots on the pennel rigs, i also had whiteing and rockling, and in the midst a small huss ( dogfish sized) , rich was after a pout to livebait but couldnet get one small enough, he also managed a good sized edible crab, left 12.30ish after loseing count on the dogs last nght decided would try the estuary for the flounder again, we hoped to do better than the club who had fished kilve in a comp, out of 18 people there was 1 tiny thornback caught  , so we didnt have much to beatwent to our fave spot and decided to just fish the first 3 hours down, well this 3 hours became 4 as we desperately tried to catch anything ( we were both getting the odd knock) but have to register a total blank between us , managed a kebab though and met a tanked up traffic warden  who tried to tell us not to park where we were whilst eating them, got to love town drunks  oh well it could have been worse we could have been watching i'm a minor celebrity   dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |
