this weekends results

Well we decided on fishing both nights again this weekend , as the missus gave me 2 passes unwillinglly , so friday me eddiec and lewis decided on eastoke beach ,arrived about 10 pm missing the best of the tide , but undettered we set about finding mr bass , weather was great with a little bit of a blow , tide on the ebb , and first cast for lewis resulted in a nice bass of a couple of pound ...........

well done mate ,

a few more hits on mackeral fillet but the tide was going too fast , weeded out we decided on a change , so we set off for clarence pier in search of sole , arrived at 1.30 am and set up close to the pier on the beach , a few nibbles but nothing exciting , then eddie had a different knock and pulled in the first sole of the weekend , and his biggest ever ................

that was that apart from 2 p****d up beach zombies , telling us how and where to fish , what a couple of complete tw*ts , who were falling all over the place , and as one of them started to touch my rod that was that , off you go dinlos ,well not much more to add , a few schoolies , pout and a velvet swimmer crab ..............

SATURDAY ,

We met up with mark, clare ,aaron ,and decided to fish town quay "ard" , arrived at 6.30 pm to blinding weather conditions and watched as people were pulling out mackeral on mackeral lol , and plenty of big spiders , as night fell pout invaded by the hundreds shame as they were micro pout and not big enough for bait , but soldiered on and had a fantastic night there , between us we landed 11 sole all under 1/2 lb with new species falling to mark and lewis , several bass including the nights heaviest caught on live bait by eddiec ............

smutt pups , and a solitary plaice for me ............

once again a great night in great company , as "ard" as we fished , just couldnt get anything of size , but we bloody well enjoyed trying ,
