| BrownDown and Towers - Friday 12-09-08 After blanking completely at No Mans tower and in the vicinity we settled into an hour over a wreck very close to a green channel marker buoy called "Browndown". Had a single 3-1/2 bass and a load of pouting. I wonder if anyone knows the name of the wreck? It is in two parts by the look of it and the remains are causing quite a "boil" on the surface so there must be sizeable chunks of wreck down there. Whilst retreiving my bruce anchor I managed to hoist an old fisherman's anchor which will come in use soon. NB There was nothing attached to it at the time. __________________ Terry Solent |
