| Sharkham point 3/9/08 Me 'n' a coupla pals decided to fish sharkham point yesterday, fished the tide out and in. lots of small pollack, small wrasse, and small huss present as well as a small coalfish. the catalyst was live prawns. as soon as i legered a live prawn, wallop....a 2lb wrasse. a few casts later with the same bait, wallop....a wrasse around 3lb + it fought like the devil himself. thanks to Tim who risked a soaking to net it for me. I'll be using live prawns for wrasse every time from now on.      |
