| Eaststoke , double joy ! Morning anglers , just got in from a session at eddiec s secret bass spot along eaststoke beach , and after him fishing it last night and blanking ,wasnt looking too good , fished with eddie and mark (arthura) , arrived at 7.30 pm , low water , wind was blowing a hooley , cloudy enough to block out the bright moon , which eddie battled last night , and a nice swell brewing ... , armed with an array of baits , rag , mackeral , squid and peeling spiders we set about finding mr bass , nothing was happening on the run in, and got a bit weeded out , so stuck with it and as h/w approached , bang ! first bass to me , only around the 2lb mark but dont they fight , ................  then marks turn on only his 4th sea trip opened his account with a small bass too ,  and he was over the moon , his first sea fish ! , well done mark ,..we waited for the next fish for what seemed like ages , and as the tide ebbed eddies rod doubled over , and up came this little beauty just over 5 lbs .................   jammy sod lol , sat down for coffee and mark rods screamed off lol ,both of them in quick sucsession , ran to help him but alas dropped both of them , always next time mark , sat back down and off went mine , to a surprise 6 1/2 lb hound ( common) ,........  had a mad hour of missed takes and dropped fish , then eddies rods , stand, took a tumble towards the sea , as he shat himself whilst running to them lol , grabbed his rod and pulled into a lunker of a fish , battled this little beauty up 11 lbs 15 ozs of raw silver power ..........................   well what can i say ed you have a goldmine of a spot there mate ,well done on your personal best double figure bar of silver ,well deserved ....... am i jealous , well what do you think ! one hell of a nights fishing in great company cheers lads , and oh mark next time remember your waterproofs lol ,all fish returned to fight another day . lee. __________________ If Everyday things are getting you down & stressing you out, Think like a Dog, If it cant be Eaten or Humped, Piss on it and walk away..     |

| Re: Eaststoke , double joy ! Cracking session lads... Some belting fish there. As far as I'm concerned that double Bass is as good as it gets in the shore fishing. Hell of a catch.
