selsey 7/8th...'night of the hounds'

just a quick report,went to selsey,got there before low water,first hound came at near last light(no photo)had'nt un packed the camera,so she went straight back only around the 5lb ish mark,had another 15mins later around the 8-9lb mark,which caught the attention of 4 teenagers,stop fishing for a while over low as the weed was tossing about in the surf 3/4 hr later went back to fishing and things went ballistic,a hound a chuck although the wind picked up from a s/w to westerly which made getting any distance difficult using the bait-runners in a cross wind,left the multi's at home,got tangled twice with the guys next to us as their fish made of uptide(they were getting the distance with multi's)one fish i returned straight away after it had been on the beach awhile whilst i untangled my line from his,he then went on to land his,no great size mine around the 7lb mark.
19 hounds in all weights were 5&7lb(no photo)8-9lb(teens)7.4/10.2/8.10/9.3/8.6/12.2/10.1/13.3/9.8/9.9/8.13/9.1/8.15/12.10/9.13/9.4/

when is the forum smut meet held?,best bet is to hold it mid-july/mid august at selsey around a 2am tide is best bet,but they will feed just after low water provided it's dark
